A family practice · Mylapore, Chennai
We help you choose, set up and quietly review mutual fund investments for every chapter: a child's education, a business family's surplus, a retirement income you can live on. One familiar person, every folio in order.
The practice
Money that is looked after, not merely invested.
“The best review is the one you did not have to remember.”
Most families do not need more products. They need someone who knows which folio belongs to which goal, whose name is on the nomination, and when the next review is due. That is the work we do, steadily and in writing, for households, retirees and business families across Chennai and abroad.
We are a mutual fund distributor. We help you understand your choices, place the transactions you approve, keep your records tidy and sit down with you to review them. Decisions stay with you; the paperwork stays with us.
Conversations happen at our office, at your home or on a video call, in English or Tamil, at a pace that suits three generations at one table.
What we do
Six things, done carefully.
Each service is distribution and execution: we explain, you decide, and the investment is made in your name through the fund house.
- i.
SIPs and lump sums
Monthly SIPs and one-time investments across fund houses, with STPs to move a lump sum in gradually.
- ii.
Goals, mapped to folios
Education, a daughter's wedding, a second home. Each goal gets its own amount, timeline and review date.
- iii.
Retirement income
Turning a corpus into a monthly income with SWPs, and checking each year that it will last.
- iv.
Portfolio reviews
We read your Consolidated Account Statement with you: what you hold, overlaps, and what may need attention.
- v.
Family records
Nominations, joint holders, minor-to-major changes and transmission when a family member passes away.
- vi.
NRI and business families
FATCA, NRE/NRO routes, HUF and company investments, and the documents each one needs.
How it works
Four steps, the same for every family.
Whether it is a first ₹2,000 SIP or a retirement corpus, the order of work does not change.
A first conversation
Your family, income, existing investments and what the money is meant to do.
About an hourA written note
Goals, amounts and suitable fund categories in plain language, with the costs shown.
Within a weekSetting it up
KYC, mandates and nominations done online with you, in your name, from your bank.
One sittingQuiet reviews
A yearly review and a reminder before every goal date. You hear from us; you do not have to chase.
Every year
Illustrations
See the arithmetic before the decision.
Two working illustrations we use across the table. They assume a steady return, which real markets never give. Treat them as a starting point for a conversation, not a forecast.
SIP and lump-sum growth
Combine a monthly SIP with a one-time amount.
Illustration only. Assumed 11% annual return, compounded monthly, not a promise. Mutual fund returns vary and can be negative; past performance may or may not be sustained in future.
Retirement income (SWP)
How long a corpus might last if you draw a fixed monthly income.
Illustration only. Assumes a constant 8% return a year, monthly withdrawals and no tax. Real returns vary year to year, and a fall early in retirement shortens the period. A yearly review lets the withdrawal be adjusted in time.

The Free Financial Health Check
Savings rate, emergency reserve, loans, cover and goals, scored in plain language. You see the result straight away; we call only if you ask us to.

Why a distributor
What a familiar name adds.
You can invest directly with any fund house. Many families still prefer a person who carries the detail for them. Here is what that means in practice.
One person who knows your folios
Across fund houses, family members and goals, kept in one written record.
Paperwork, handled
KYC updates, bank mandate changes, nominations, address changes and transmission.
Reviews on a calendar
A yearly sit-down and a note before each goal date, so drift is caught early.
Reminders you would otherwise miss
SIP end dates, lock-in completions, KYC expiries and maturing goals.
We earn a commission from fund houses on investments in regular plans. That cost is part of each scheme's expense ratio, which is shown before you invest. Direct plans have a lower expense ratio and no distributor commission; we will explain the difference whenever you ask.
Questions families ask
Plain answers, in writing.
Fund houses pay us a commission on investments in regular plans; it comes out of the scheme's expense ratio, not as a separate bill. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser and do not charge a fee for recommendations. Our commission disclosure lists the rates.
No. Every payment goes from your bank account to the mutual fund (AMC) in your name. Units are held with the registrar, CAMS or KFintech, and statements come to you directly. We never accept cash or cheques in our name.
Yes. Download your Consolidated Account Statement from CAMS or KFintech and we will review it together: what you hold, overlaps, and anything that may need attention. Whether you move anything is your decision.
A systematic withdrawal plan redeems a fixed amount from your fund each month and pays it to your bank. The rest stays invested. Because markets move, we review the withdrawal rate every year rather than set it once and forget it.
With a nominee registered, units pass to them through transmission. We keep a record of nominations across your folios and help your family with the forms and documents when the time comes.
Yes, subject to each fund house's rules for your country of residence. We help with FATCA declarations, NRE/NRO routes, and investments through an HUF, partnership or company, with meetings by video call when you are away.
A first conversation
Begin with a quiet hour.
Tell us a little and we will call to fix a time that suits you. No preparation needed; bring a recent account statement if you have one.
